Who we are
Auto Loan Guide is an educational publication on Altras.ai. The Auto Loan Guide Editorial Team researches public auto-finance information, maintains the calculators, and reviews lender and vehicle records before publication.
We publish for US car shoppers and use US dollars, US market sources, and plain-English explanations.
What we do
We publish original education, transparent calculators, direct-lender profiles, and budget-based vehicle research. Our goal is to keep the important assumptions visible: amount financed, APR, loan term, fees, source periods, and review dates.
What we do not do
We are not a lender, broker, dealership, credit-repair company, or financial adviser. We do not collect loan applications, run credit checks, match users to personalized offers, or guarantee approval.
How we stay independent
Outbound lender links go to official websites without affiliate parameters. Lender scores come from a published rubric, and missing public information is labeled instead of estimated.
No lender can pay to change its score or its position in a ranking. If the business model changes, any material commercial relationship will be disclosed where users make a decision.
